this is real hip hop people. not that bubblegum fake as rap on the airways. there is a difference between being a rapper and being an MC. these guys are Mc's people like wayne an soldier boy are rappers. real hip hop is suppose to be about intelligent lyrics, clever delivery, and story telling. you dont have fucking dances to real hip hop. fuck the mainstream. @aaron4801 I live for lyrics. Obviously, you need a good production to carry you dope lyrics. But a dope beat and a wack rapper on it = a wack song. Hence the need for both. Even when I buy soul, country or Sheryl Crow type genres music, the artists in these genres have to be good lyricists. Music is about saying something with substance. When I look at the way certain uneducated morons have reduce Black music to sh!t, my heart sweeps with bare anger. All these MTV artists are benealth me.

( A nice beat is good but it doesn't mean shit if the lyrics aren't as equally good.) lol
